Part no please gents as my car is in for a service as we speak and i think im going to get a Revision D fitted...

Secondly how long do these take to fit ?

On a K03 it takes about 30 mins. It takes longer to jack the car and remove the undertray than it does to fit it. The cost of the unit will be about £50 plus labour costs.

Okidoke. Was about to recommend a VW master technician in Doncaster who's very competitive.

It's a 5 minute job, dont pay for it to be changed. I've done a DIY guide, it's in the "how to" section on this forum.

This is a Vw dealer. Id probably be walking away at this point! There are plenty of capable dealers but also some horror stories!

Sadly almost all service desk monkeys are like this.

Back when I had my S2000 I called up to book it in for it's service, at a Honda dealer, and was asked if it was a petrol or a diesel :stupid:

Yes it just goes to show you the caliber of the staff,but you would really hope that these Stealers educate their staff a little more,one things not knowing what the part does but to not even know a model of the best selling car (VW Golf)is just beyond me...

And he had better not ask me wether my GTI is a petrol or a diesel... :signLOL:

Mike, In that case i'll do you a super rare Rev G (unopened) for that price  :drinking: I seem to have two these going spare. . .

Well just got the car back and it's passed the M.O.T,However Vw would not fit a Rev D Diverter Valve,when asked why i just got the response that its not the correct part for the car and they will no honour it should something go wrong ???????

Car also back in tomorrow for s split Cv joint thingy.......  :sick:
