I managed to get my Ed30 DSG stuck! :ashamed: It was okay when moving though... Probably doesn't help that I kept putting off getting winter tyres, but hopefully the snow won't last too long!

I was just sat there thinking W button wheres that?, then read down aha, I dont have one in my Ed30.

Well in norfolk we got around 3-4 inches on saturday night which for norfolk is a lot and it was nice to get out and have a drive on empty roads (The norfolkites dont come out in snow, it scares them "Oooarr stroinge whiooite stuff from tho skayyy"), it did take me 3 attempts to get off the drive tho as there was a big drift right behind me car!, fortunately cleared out the log fire the night before so plenty of ash to drop behind the wheels which soon got me on my way  :driver:

Got a few funny looks as im driving along sliding about sideways (it helps with the handbrake off )

now theres something i didnt know lol i cant get my head round how good it is. does it just cut the torque out of the low range preventing wheel spin?

It basically dramatically alters the way the electronic throttle works.  You just get considerably less 'actual' throttle opening compared to how far you press the go pedal.  So fundamentally, it reduces torque, and more importantly, makes that torque FAR more manageable.
