Afternoon all,
I own a 06 GTI in black..I love it. I've now decided that my next mod is going to be some new wheels, I currently have the standard 17" whatever they are that it came with. I know I like the larger Monzas, but I'm open to other ideas or suggestions.
Any thoughts? Also are there any wheels/deals that I should avoid like the plague? I keep seeing what look like great deals on Fleabay but surely you get what you pay for??
Help!

I've also got the stupidly small standard 17's on mine. I'm planning on either a set of Mk6 Detroit's (or shadows or whatever there called), Audi Speedlines or BBS LM's. Oh or a set of BBS CH's. But i can't decide out of that list which ones i want haha

When you get new alloys then you will want to low it :signLOL:

I would stick with Genuine wheels if poss. Then If you want to change at a later date, you can sell em on easy enough
The Satin Black Monza's with the silver polished lip look great :notworthy: They are know as Huffs :happy2:
Surely you have seen the wheel thread?

Also since you have a Black Gti, have a look at the Colours thread too.

I'd agree with above and say stick with OEM wheels whether it be VW/Audi/SEAT/Mercedes. For most people 18's are good. 19's need quite a low car to pull the look off right.
I'm selling a set of wheels at the minute, two sets infact! But just one set if 18's. Have a look at the link below and let be know what you think. I recently saw a set of smoked chrome wheels on a black GTI and they looked
