Title: VAG recalls

Hi there Just a quick post on the piezo injectors that were fitted to some 170 tdi and 140 tdi engines . 2 of my mates from work have had letters to have there cars recalled one being a seat leon 170 tdi which has now had new injectors fitted , the other lad had the 140 tdi passat 05 reg and that was recalled for injectors and oil pump .

I thought it only applied to the 170 engines?

I had mine done the other week when i booked in for a service the injectors were ordered and replaced, couple of days later i received my letter so ignored it.  :happy2:

yeah its happening, 2 people i know have called VW and will get 3 new injectors installed and refunded for the 1 injector they both had replaced.
Both Passat 140`s.    good news for the derv owners and takes a big cost and worry away.
