Hi has anyone fitted one of these to a MK5 Edition 30, if so can I please have your views

I've got it on mine and its well worth while. fitted with a torque arm bush insert it makes the gear change loads better

i doubt the ed30 would have it even if it has the same engine as its still a golf. i had to get mine from the audi garage as VW couldn't order the part. its easy enough to check though as you can see the part number stamped without having to remove the air box.

German ED30 had it, Swedish ED30 had it.

I don't know if UK-ED30s had them. Possibly RHD ED30s had the standard shifter.

If its got a TT shifter then the part number will start 8J0.  The number is stamped on the weighted end of the shifter.
