Title: Help! Bumper guide

Hi everyone

Hoping for some quick help here from anyone who's bought a new bumper from VW (or just knows for sure anyway).

Is this carrier part of the skin? i.e., when you buy a new bumper is this already attached?

Got a used bumper but the NS one is missing, apparently it isn't part of the bumper skin even though the other side has a plastic weld on it...

Both sides are in place on my brand new GTI bumper.

Thanks for the confirmation, I have a feeling this one will end up on eBay when I return it.

How much was it new?

 £200 still wrapped. seller bought then changed his mind :happy2:

Well I got a refund on that bumper (if anyone sees a metallic black GTI bumper on eBay from a seller with literally hundreds of them for sale - beware of that particular bumper).
The opposite side carrier was ripped off, as are all the clips - could be fixed/bodged but not at the price bought for.

Ended up also getting a primered genuine new bumper for the same price, every cloud and all that. This seller listed it as a Jetta one but my eagle eyes knew otherwise  :party:
