I had Hertz "Hi-energy" components up front, coax's in the rear and a 10" sub in the boot when I had the ED30. Sounded lovely too. :happy2:

Whats your budget?

What kind of overall setup are you looking to acheive? SPL, SQ, SQL?

Hertz, Focals, Rainbow - All great!

Jbl power series, Infinity Kappas's..

Didn't want to be spending to much but then I was thinking maybe waiting and getting something a lot better than what I would get on the lower budget, how much would them focals cost me?

if you are on the original RCD300, That will be your biggest weak point on our cars.

upgrading to an RCD310 is a big step up.

However if you are willing to jump into Alpine/Pioneers radio's etc. That will be an even bigger jump in sound Quality.

Otherwise, installing an Amplifier to the stock speakers with Stock radio will also be a good bump in improved sound quality.

Going to the likes of aftermarket speakers with your factory radio, would sound slightly better at low volume, but at a volume most people would listen to it would sound terrible.

The factory Radio's simply cannot produce enough power or efficiency to make replacement speakers sound justifiable to the money spent.
