I just read that to my Mrs, and she looked really excited when I said "On Valentines Day..."
And shook her head in despair when I completed the sentence with "....there's 5p off a litre of V Power"
:signLOL:
-
Cool, our baby is due on Valentines Day, but I should be able to drop by hopefully
-
On top of that if you have the shell app on the iphone you and go to your inbox, there should be an offer of 50 bonus points at your next fill up (min 30litres)
-

-

-
I Just filled up on the way to the stealers...Still £1.38.9p a ltr though!
-
I filled up early hours of the morning, although the garage was on the shell list of particpants, they refused to acknowledge this and charged full price
-
Went to fill up on v power this morning only to find the bloody petrol station was closed for refuelling, so put BP ultimate in instead which cost about £4.50 more with the deal on v power
-
I've always wondered how many miles a shell tanker full of Vpower would last me...How sad am I...

I have similar thoughts, imagine having your own tanker to fill up on. I bet we aren't the only saddos on the forum lol

Filled up at 140.9. Asked is that with 5p off?
Guy spoke to manager and said offer was from 9am and they've not changed their prices yet so I got £2.20 off.
:happy2:

Same here in Lincoln. The shell terms and conditions say the offer runs from 00:01 to 23:59 on Valentines day, might have to give them a phone call. :stupid:

Gah! Beaten to it!
-
Option number 5.... Whatever the forecourt price is, that's what it costs. No additional discount given.
I went to tesco and got my weekly shop yesturday, got my 10p a litre off and saved £4 on my fill up :happy2:
Price i payed was £1.27P a litre.
-
I filled my car up on 2nd Feb and it was £139.9 a litre, I filled the car up today and it was £140.9 a litre. So I cannot see the 5p off, unless of course they put the price up to £145.9 yesterday.....
-
Filled up today at shell. The pump sign showed £1.41.9 but the display showed £136.9 when i filled up.
-
.
A good heads-up but a 30-mile round trip to my nearest Shell for V-Power and so not really worth the time and effort. Besides, I'm just not a romantic kind of bloke.... Even with my beloved car!
-
Its a 10 mile round trip to the shell garage every week for me anyway. For the sake of £2-£3 its not worth the fuss.
Its just the principle they have this big ad campaign on, and its a load of cr@p just to get a few extra people into their forecourts
-
Put some in mine & 133.9 :innocent:

Same result here too, spoke to a nice lady at Shell HQ, she's past it on up the chain....I won't hold my breath though... :fighting2:
-
I filled up on V-pOwer @134.9p tonight :)
-
Filled up @ 1.33.9  same price as regular unleaded
-
I brimmed mine tonight in Sheffield. Pump price was set to 140.9 but display showed 135.9. I thought I'd done alright but it seems some of you paid even less. I had the tatty remains of a Shell money off voucher wedged in the bottom of me wallet which took the edge of it a bit further. This place was pushing the promotion with flags and posters stuck to all the pumps.
-
Brimmed mine tonight at 136.9ppl. :happy2:
And i thought that was cheap. Damn Solihull fuel prices. I blame all the Porsche owners. :sad1:
-

I filled up at my local and the price was 135.9 which is only 4p less than it was.
So then the cheeky feckers add the 5p back on and Hey Presto an overall 1p price rise. :fighting: :fighting:
Or am I just a cynical old sod?
