I'm sick of looking at tyre reviews¬!!
I just get settled on one and then read a shocking review!
I'm thinking PS3 or Sportcontact 5's
Then I read that the predecessors to these tyres are the ones to go with?????
I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall!!
They have to be ordered in the morning!!
Help me please..... :scared:
Cheers guys Jase :happy2:

Goodyear Eagle F1 - by the time you get through those the SC5P or PSS might be available in the correct size, for the UK market and you will save yourself some dollar also in the process check out Camskill mate

Choice of tyre depends on your budget and driving style. Everybody will advise differently - all I can give you is my honest opinion after having a set of Bridgestones, Goodyears, Falken's and Continentals on my current and previous MK5 GTi's. I have found that the Continental has been the best all rounder - great grip in the dry and very impressive in the wet. Road noise is also minimised and they seem to wear well - though not as long as the Michelins. Also - the Continentals have had top spot in the Evo tyre test for 2 years running - I think this says a lot. Btw...I'm on the SC3's. Hope this helps.

I too have been slamming my head against the wall, but alot of people say these Continental sport contact 5's. Will be getting a price on two in the week as Michelins are what I've normally had are now a bit too pricey.
