Title: Previously remapped?

Is there any way to tell if a car has been previously remapped? I've had the GTI for a few weeks now and it does seem very lively! Might just be the fact I've come from a MK4 1.8T.

I think, any tuner can scan the ECU and tell you......

If you know someone with VCDS its fairly easy to tell by doing some boost pressure logs.  :happy2:

I've got VCDS. Would it be as simple as checking the logs and comparing them to stock figures?
