Is it possible to fir MFSW buttons to work with a RCD300 to a steering wheel without buttons?
-
iirc you can fit buttons to the R32 wheel and mybe the gti wheel, the best way to do it is to buy a wheel with buttons already and fit that, and yes it does work with the RCD300 mate :happy2:
-
only with DSG paddles and highline
DSG with paddles and midline, will work but only for Volume and mute. CD Track and Radio station change won't work
-
The Mrs has a GT Sport with non-MFSW, was hoping to just buy the buttons and add them to her non-MFSW?
She only has pov spec low line so its a no go then :sad1:

to answer the first question....YES you can have a MFSW working with RCD300 - i had this exact setup working for the first few months i had the car before i got my highline/RNS
however, you WILL require a new steering control module and a new steering wheel with the buttons and the requisite coding....your best option is to find a breaker who is breaking a golf match and nab the module and steering wheel from them - i managed to get the module for 20quid and the wheel for 60 so wasnt too bad!
