Title: Snow Foam/Karcher Query
Post by: berg on February 13, 2012, 12:56:43 pm
Hi guys, never snow foamed before but want to start doing it as taking car to Miglior for a detail soon(ish) and want to be able to make sure can maintain it.

So... have bought some snow foam from Washshop but in terms of lance am not sure what I am doing? My Karcher is a very small one K2 series (is it even up to the job re flow rate?) so do I buy a specific lance and if so which one?

Thanks in advance.

I have the Karcher K2 series and I brought this lance >> http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003BF83UK/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details

It's perfect and foams up great  :happy2:

I had my Dad's old Karcher. Think it was a K2.02 and looked something like this:

Worked fine. Look at the fitment - that's the important thing. You can get different types of connectors and fit them on. I bought a Nilfisk pressure washer and took off the Karcher fitment on the lance to swap it for a Nilfisk one without issues.

clicky (http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=lance+connector&osCsid=0bb06df50fae619373eda1f9d1ab6663&x=0&y=0)

Do you mean car shampoo? I've found it becomes very watery and doesn't foam like proper snowfoam.

A prewash that's designed to loosen and remove dirt before washing.
