I have been on Mk5golfgti for a while now but I haven't had the chance to start a my build thread.... here goes:

When i bought it (Dec 2009)

Love the Bentleys and the Alphards, I think both of them suit the MK5 perfectly :notworthy:

liking that alot, out of all the rims its the Bentleys which do it for me  :drinking:

Have you had many issues with wheel bearings? Since trying to stance mine it's driving me mad with the noises coming from them during cornering and slowing down a lot worse with my 8.5 by 18" wheels on.

is it some sort of knocking sound?.... i have a knocking sound which i can only hear when i am driving slowly... but it is fookin annoying and i still havent figured out what it is  :angry015:

Not a knocking sound mate mines more of a whine woo woo woo noise lol. Knocking sounds like your drive shafts or a top mount or bush maybe worn

I have changed both top mounts and I have had it notched as well :s i still don't know where the noise is coming from...
