I've bought about 6-7 units from Lithuania in the last few years with brilliant comms and fast shipping. I'm not saying that seller is the same but my experiences are better than most places in the uk. Same goes for some Portuguese sellers

Its quite a big practice in eastern Europe all these repairs, they offer 3 month warranty which I guess shows some incentive as at the end of the day if its going to go wrong it will probably go wrong in the first week with some heavy use. I would say do some research on the seller, i.e feedback - google them and the company and see what comes back.

You have to remember that although it probably seems cheap to us its a lot of money to them considering the average salary is something in the region of $11,000 or about £7000.

500.00 GBP   =   2,060.66 LTL

If your gunna buy do the research first no every person selling on ebay is knock of, a lot of people have genuine businesses on ebay where they buy cheap, repair and sell back on ebay again.

C < LCD screen

F < New version. Bigger hhard drive and quicker processor

Have loooked into them, and they seem OK

i've seen one or two posts over the net of people who have purchased items from over thay way - and they ended up being FAKE RNS.

They look good - is there anyway I can make sure its a genuine unit?

I also bought from Lithuania but the ebay advert stated they were in the uk so you just do not know who you are buying from. I paid more for the Version C as it was a UK seller and once paid i then found out they were in Lithuania. The first unit i received was damaged and i spoke to them , they collected the damaged one and sent another within a week. No complaints from me about the seller of the one i bought. I would get one from the Chap on R32oc forum...can't remember his name but he is generally at the top of the classified section as i think he sells lots

i bought my 'C' version from lithuania.... turned out to be very very very good rebadged A version...

ended up killing it and it cost me £230 to have it all repaired, radio board, PSU board, Mainboard, front panel all changed out to the H version ones, board index H12....

spend the extra few quid and buy a C version from the UK... you've got something to go back to that ways at least...

Thanks. Dennis

I bought my first MFD2 for my first Octavia in 2006 from Lithuania.

Do your research and if you're happy go for it.
