how do you find the gti?
-
I came from a remapped LCR which is the same engine - as have some of the other guys on here.
The 2.0T is not as rough, power delivery a lot smoother which in turn makes it a better drive. Power is hard to judge as I came from manual to DSG but although remaps slightly lower the torque curve is better.
Dont regret it put it that way and would choose the 2.0T over the 1.8T now.

i had a go in a gti manual, it was alot smoother, less oomph in the delivery, but it did pick up well' however disappointed in a standard drive. thought a standard gti would have had more sparks
what's a remapped version like?

One of the most under-rated developments in that last decade IMHO.
