Title: black lambo wheels
Post by: stevie_p on April 29, 2009, 12:55:24 pm: hey chaps anyone gotta any pics of black gallardo wheels on gti?? ive seen them a few times but cant find again. are they 19" & do they go on the golf gti ok?? also any ideas where to get these & price???

Post by: markymark on April 29, 2009, 01:04:57 pm: Check out Greenouse's build thread as he originally had some anthracite Gallardo wheels on his which I then bought off him! They are only available in a silver finish, Greeny got his re-painted in anthracite. They do go straight on the car but you will get slight rubbing especially when the car is fully loaded up!

Oooh nice car! :laugh:

The Lambo reps were my favourite rim on my car so far! Just a shame they rubbed with the Eibach's! :sad:

Did you expect anything else John, thats why I didnt bother posting pics of my car with them on as Greeny would have gotten all miffed! :signLOL:

I had them painted that colour. Shouldn't cost much more than Ã‚Â£70 a wheel at a bodyshop! A bit more if you go to a wheel specialist. :happy2:

As for where to get them, the usual places I guess, ebay, I think VW Speed were selling these at one stage too! You are looking at Ã‚Â£800 for a 19" wheel & tyre package then factor in painting!

I got my wheels refurbed in anthracite for Ã‚Â£40 each wheel but that was cos I know the lad who did them.

I got the wheels from a company on ebay, here ya go I think he does the 19" aswell but the 18" ones come with the lambo centres which I thought was a nice touch,
