Title: Rs4 help fitting

What tools will help me get the oem culprit out, and do you attempt this from the top or the side (fuelpump)

It's a very fiddly job if you haven't done it before. Some have used specially bent spanners or crows feet to install the valve.
I paid one hour's labour to get mine done.  :smiley:

Hmmm, maybe worth doing that then spending money on spanners.

It took me about 25 mins, I did have the whole front end off because I was fitting my THS cooler, moved my DV out the way and brackets, I got it out with a normal spanner

Jack - your sayin if i move the DV out the way, i can get to it ? Ill have a look how its attached!

Yes move the DV and the bracket and you can get a spanner up there

Cheers Jack, I managed to swap it over.


Took me a good 45-1hour to remove the oem valve.

Then an extra 30-45min to put everything back..

Cool if anyone else does it I have a old spanner I ground up if needed
