Hey guys, just got hold of a GTI rear valance which i will be collecting tomorrow and hopefully will get my chrome tips welded on by thursday. Wondering if anyone has previous experience in doing this and may be able to fit mine?
I've PM'd Morty but just incase he's busy and can't get back to me thought i'd ask around

hi fella its not too bad a job to do yourself, just make sure you do the swap on a nice soft surface ie; a carpet if the missus will let you in the house with it :signLOL:
heres a guide for you http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?3754634
it can be done with it on the car but its more of a pita i think, i took the full bumper off when i did mine

oh and i did mine on the ground with the wheels on, theres no need to take the wheels off like in the guide above

Thanks for the reply mate.. as for bringing it in the house my mum would go crazy haha (No missus as im still a young student lol) ! I'm not too confident at taking the bumper off as i always tend to cock things up :scared: If i can't find anyone to give me a hand then i might have to try, another alternative is to get a body shop to fit it quickly for me
