The sky's the limit Gill, you pay more for a car that cost less to produce :innocent:

Just fitted a bugatti veyron steering wheel to mine!! Performance now is amazing!! Only downside is there is quite a bit of torque steer!!!!!!!!! :driver:
-
Fit one from an R32, you'll lessen the wheelspin off the line...
-
I fitted one from an R36 and couldn't believe the extra room I gained in the back of the car.
-
that steering wheel is ace your car will gain the auto park feature :signLOL:

On a similar tip, I fitted one from an early Passat CC and lost one of my back seats.
Where is the original thread this takes 'inspiration' from, please?
-
I recently fitted an F1 wheel to my car. Not only did i lose a load of space but it costs a bloody fortune to fill up, does sh*te mpg and tyres are extortionate :fighting: but...............
Fook me it's quick :happy2:
You might be better trying to install one of these wheels :driver:
-
Hopefully you can fit one from a Renault Megane and lap the Ring faster than everything ever.

I'm going to fit a GT-R one to mine so we can settle the argument of which is quicker once and for all
-
Great thread op, does that mean my French doors could sound like a golf? If my friend stuck a lambo steering wheel on I would have friends with supercars and I could tell everyone how popular I am :signLOL:
-
Why get it to sound like a Golf when you can have a TT-RS
-
Just taken purchase of a 5000bhp top fuel drag car steering wheel, I know it will make the car a bit quicker but the problem is I have no idea how to drive the gti? I've come from a normal golf but the gti is so much quicker and now with the added steering wheel it may be a challenge. For example how would you guys go about joining a motorway? What gear would you be in? Sorry for all the questions but any advice is much appreciated, thanks
-
I'd imagine 1st should be good for around 200mph so I'd try that.
-
Thanks for your kind comments but the thread seems to be going off topic as I was talking about handling
-
Oh right, well I'd imagine the wheel will feel pretty much the same when you handle it.
-
I am not saying anything

Do you suggest driving gloves

I have just taken purchase of the new Fistmaster 6000 HD with auto wipe on completion feature. It has a wheel on that so if i fit that to my car will this mean i get a "good ride" everytime i go out???

With your R36 wheel, this should fit in the back quite nicely
-
Have you been in my Garage
-
This post is amazing!
-
LMFAO at this thread. I suppose the problem is that Mk5 GTIs can be had for around £5k upwards now, so instead of people getting Fiesta STs, they are able to afford a better car.
-
Depends where you fit it. Fitting to the passenger side for example will probably result in a dramatic effect on handling....
