Good question, I was aslo thinking about a helix clutch, the only thing I couldnt see on the information page I was looking at was the max torque.

got this from bdm page...

Torque rating 354 lbft / 481 nm

should be plenty enough for ko3

south bend with single mass flywheel seems to be rated very highly....

I heard that single mass flywheels can cause a knocking sound on idle which puts me off that idea.

They do a "silent" kit now

Ordered mine from the US from this crowd http://uspmotorsports.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=30&products_id=1149 (http://uspmotorsports.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=30&products_id=1149)

The link is for the TSI but they have for the TFSI also just not listed at the moment

Very helpful and worked out cheaper than anywhere this side of the water

Been dealing with this guy Jeff Jerman <jeff@uspmotorsports.com>;  :happy2:

Can't tell you what it's like yet has hopefully should be with tomorrow

Had my Helix clutch fitted by BDM and its been as good as gold. I've had it fitted for about a year/15000 miles and apart from a slightly heaver feel to the clutch but in no way a hindrance to everyday driving, its stood up great to 300ft/lb of diesel torque. I'm not 100% sure if the clutch is the same kit in the six speed 2.0TDI as the six speed 2.0TFSI but I can only recommend it. Its fitted with an OEM LUK DMF flywheel as well (fitted at the same time).

Yup, been running one on my stage2+ ed30 for 16000 miles with no trouble at all. Feel is marginally heavier than standard but nothing that causes any ache, even my wife approves.

I'm currently running one on my stg 2+ Cupra and have no issues at all! The clutch is a good bit of kit and feels almost exactly the same as the Sachs kit I was running previously. The only thing I will say is that the SMF is a lot louder than the DMF when idle (as most already know) but its not something that I cant live with as I was expecting it! :happy2:

VWR told me Helix better for track, Sachs better if a daily user and get caught in rush hour! But... Southbend seem to be very highly rated
