Title: Door Build ideas...

Finally got some time to proceed with my door builds, however need some ideas as to the layout of the speakers etc..

The stock locations of the mk5 door speakers is very poor, so im looking to take advantage of the large door pockets on the door cards and create a better Sound stage up front.. Currently using a Set of 2 way Rainbows in the stock location in the door cards, but will be adding a set of 3way Focals A3 to each door.. so 5 speakers per door..


Anyone got any links/pics of any good door builds they have seen in a mk5? Ive used the search function on here and to be honest couldnt find many?

He has built many MK5 golfs. they are LHD version cars. But the doors still end up with the same result.

Put the mid bass in the same location as Plush did with theirs but move the midrange and tweeter to the a pillar
