Title: Racingline - thinking of using them?
Post by: lookoutsmudger on April 30, 2009, 03:57:16 pm
Just curious but has anyone used these guys for upgrades/remaps etc etc. Just been sent a price list/brochure by them and was interested in the stage 1 and stage 2 engine/remap upgrade. Maybe the suspension upgrade as well?

I know some on here have used them but any recommendations/thoughts/suggestions/problems you have would be appreciated.

Cheers, Smudger

....

Absolutely second to none in my opinion.

RacingLine/VWRacing have done my Quaife and my bespoke VWR-KW-V3 suspension and will be doing more in due course.

The big thing to realise is that they are not a retailer or tuning shop like say Awesome and their first priority is their racing season. You have to be flexible to fit in with them but once it's your turn they'll give you 100%.

Read through the threads you listed, very interesting and they have given me some good idea of what these guys are about. Quality rather than quantity i feel. If i'm going to spend some hard earned cash then I want it done by the right people. Cheers for the info.... :happy2:

As Robin has said they are fantastic and what they have done for me over the past few months is worth the 3 hour drive to them.

They'll be getting all (or most) of my business.

They're definitely getting my business when I come to getting the first stages of my mods done in July!  Just spoke to Mark from Racingline/VWR and he answered all y questions in great detail with loads of enthusiasm!  :happy2:

ive spent alot of money with them having all the suspension set up, new turbo injectors, lsd, and a few more things to boot. i would highley reccommend them. mark is a really nice guy, in fact they all are. Mark really knows his stuff and after having them set the car up it is now driving so much better than before.
ive had many mods in the past done by different people who i wont mention on here. Having found racingline, ive now got the car how i want it. i feel comfortable leaving decisions up to mark for example he has just redone my engine mounts again as he thought the new ones he had are better and would sound alot nicer. how right he is. it now sounds as good as it goes. you can feel and hear the engine although its not at all offputting, it just adds more excitement to the driving experiance. the engine power delivery is alot smoother now and so much more immediate.

Use Racingline.... you wont be disappointed.
