Title: Hill Hold Assist retrofit?
Post by: Billy on February 23, 2012, 12:06:55 am: As per the title can you get the Hill Hold Assist function retrofitted?

Is it just some programming or is it some hardware too?

My car is an 07 DSG Edition 30 and does't seem to have it (unless I'm being stoopid!).

Post by: Greeners on February 23, 2012, 10:28:52 am: I wouldn't bother, it's a PITA and makes you look like you can't do a hill start!! Iv'e heard it can be adjusted with VCDS so I'll be looking into that.

I'd have thought the DSG Edition 30 would have had it as standard but I guess not...

I wouldn't have thought so. Didn't have it on my 57 Plate R32 and certainly didn't ever felt it needed it......

Me neither, if your on a hill and release the brake then the DSG box engages anyway. (as you know) :happy2:
