Title: Gti Bonnet and Grill stripe colour advice.
Post by: nezquick on February 24, 2012, 12:24:47 pm: Iv recently fancied doing a cheapish mod to the exterior and sort out a stripe down the bonnet and do the grille like this:

I have a black magic mk5 gti, what colour would you recommend? I've thought about grey (is it carbon grey? the one we have for our mk5's) and white but can't find a image which could give me an idea of whether it would work or not. I was thinking with the white I would do a thin red strip along the border to match the badge'd grill with the red line stripe. Ideas?

Images would be appreciated.

I don't think it would look right on your car, you would have to have a bright green or orange vinyl and it will end up looking a bit chavy. All imo though.

wierdly i kinda like it.. looks different but kinda cool.

I absolutely love this car...it was my desktop for some time. anyone know what the bodykit on it is?
