Try him with 000 051 502 F Fakra GPS antenna

Looks like it's about £90?!
Seems like a generic one would do - sure my Zenec one is the same and you get them pn eBay for a tenner or so, if I'm wrong please someone correct me.

This GPS thing arrived this morning. However when its plugged in it is not showing any sat/signal ?

Do it have to be a specific GPS depending on the unit, firmware etc?

Any advice would be very helpfull as Im sat in car trying to sort it lol

I'd say it's down to a setting. Does your nav have an option to enable an antenna?
Maybe it needs activated through VCDS, or a baud setting maybe?

Might take a few mins of searching at first to latch onto a signal.

EDIT: For testing purposes, have you got an open view of the sky, and if the antenna isn't in place yet, run it out of the car onto the roof maybe so there are no obstructions at all.

Activated the RNS/Sat Nav In VCDS - all done

Installed RNS - with anteena inside and outside the car

RNS is saying - Searching or something

VCDS - Showing antenna fault.

Drove round everthing, tried different things.........

Crazy really as the Sat nav will locate the - destination and the map moves when you drive....but it will not place YOU on the map.
Showing 0 and 0 sats

Seems like a dud antenna they've sent

Can you post up the full GPS fault code? Maybe someone with an RNS could offer more insight.
