Title: Aftermarket Double Din Install Help

Whilst going through some of the junk in the spare room today I came across my old JVC head unit I put in my old MK4. Now obviously it's a different shape to the mk4 dash so I know I need a fascia adaptor. I remember that I had to cut the cage out due to silly little screws stripping there heads when trying to remove it. Will this do the job??? Just want to know before I go throwing money at it. The units a KW-AVX810 btw.

Looks ok to me.

Not sure if it would fit or if VW do one themselves but Skoda do a nice kit which includes all the wiring adaptors.

Cheers but that Skoda one won't fit. Well, i'm 99% certain it won't. That looks like it goes round the heater controls aswell and on my Golf there separate covers, i think. Might just have to bite the bullet and buy the kit then see how it goes.
