"The Outlaw Josey Wales" - Clint Eastwood's first effort at directing and, in my opinion, one of the best Westerns ever filmed.
9:00pm tonight Ch5.
I've seen it lots of times but still enjoy it. Chief Dan George being one of my favourites - His humour is so typically Injun! :notworthy:

Excellent catch. It's not my fave Eastwood (stuck between Hang'em High, Fistful of Dollars and High Plains Drifter).

Unforgiven is my fav

Actually, Clint Eastwood has made a number of very fine films and really it's down to individual preference which we each think is best. I like Outlaw Josey Wales especially because of the Indian connections - This was made before Dances With Wolves etc.

Some of the modern Indian movies are great too. "Thunderheart" is one of my favourites - A thriller based on truth.
