Title: Parts from TPS
Post by: lukejenks101 on February 27, 2012, 01:29:14 pm
Hi All, If this gets much interest i would be happy to start supplying parts from tps for everyone (I work for Robins & Day) so we get a very good discount from buying sh*t loads from them!
As alot of people know these are genuine parts but will only supply to trade customers (I am aware some TPS branches sale to the public though).
If people are interested let me know and i'll start another thread for requests!

Hi Luke,

That's very kind of you to offer to do that.

 :congrats:

How would it work?

Cheers, Ian.

Well i wouldnt be able to supply invoices as it would have all of our account info and details on it, I would need to have the money bank transfered or paypal as gift (paypal would take a bit longer) and then i would pay with my card if that makes sense!
I used to do this on the 306 gti6 owners club.

would they be able to dispatch directly to us or would parts come to you and then we need to arrange courier again?

Everyone likes a discount

Maybe you could start by adding some prices to this thread for the usual consumables?

Spark Plugs
Oil
Air Filter
Pollen Filter
Brake Discs (For Both GTi & R32 calipers)
Brake Pads (For Both GTi & R32 calipers)

I was just thinking about this, the only problem we could face is warranty, im not too sure how we would go about claiming if there was ever a problem

Definitely interested, in the market for the edition 30 front splitter - like many people I imagine, plus potentially the Eddie rear too subject to price  :happy2:

As said this is just to find out how much interest there is, I am changing position from parts to sales so i need to figure out if it  is going to be too much of a workload to take on, i dont want to be causing a load of unhappy people! :signLOL:

Personally I think you are taking on a whole heap of hassle.

Nice offer though!

Do you have to be work for a dealer/mechanic or can you register with any old company? Bit like Makro?
