I am looking at an 07 ED30. Its got 54k on, but although serviced recently, has not had the belt and water pump changed yet. When are they due? Says 60k in the service book, but has it changed?
-
Pretty sure it's now 40k miles or 4 years. So it will need doing.
-
It should have need changed last year mate. Get it done ASAP.
-
How much does this generally cost?
-
300-400, maybe more.
-
I was told a while back it was 5 years or 60,000 miles. I've just had mine done today, 5 years old! Should of been done sooner ideally but least its done.

Word of warning though. Those fixed prices are only at certain dealerships. Looked like a right plum arguing when they said £480 for a cambelt change, I was certain it was £339 as per VW uk fixed pricing.
There is a little box to type in your post code to find nearest participating dealers. Mine was nearly 100 miles away, so full price it is :indifferent:

4yrs or 60k miles is what VW told me.
It should have been done and will cost you £430 so budget for that

Im pretty sure its 4 years or 40k. Did mine at 40k. Better not taking any chances :happy2:
