Title: Parrot 9200 & RCD510
Post by: john87 on February 27, 2012, 06:13:26 pm
Just thought I'd throw this one out there

My golf came with a Parrot 9200 bluetooth hands free / portable media interface, and its a great bit of kit. When its in use, it mutes the stereo output to the speakers. Which is fine, but it would be even better if the RCD510 would 'pause' (equivalent of pressing 'phone' button on headunit) when I received/made a call. In short, does anyone know if there's a 'mute' signal wire on the loom that can be tapped into to perform such a function, as opposed to just cutting the sound and then pressing the pause button manually?

Any suggestions appreciated

Ive just upgraded to rcd510 from a rcd500 and having a similar problem. You need to swap the mute and speaker wires,i think. I think you need a parrot wire repair kit too.
