Title: exhaust question i need answered before wednesday please

I have a 3" downpipe and decat ready to go onto my car wednesday, although im only going to have the downpipe fitted and then decat it myself or weld on a sports cat.

My question is will the downpipe simply mate up to the exsisting exhaust without needing any special adaptors. the guy i bought it from gave me everything it came with apart from the gasket (not a problem) id like to know before the guy gets it on the ramps and hmms and ummms and cant fit it. It comes with the same as the bcs clamps so presume it does simply join up

It may need a reducer section. If ive done my homework correctly most aftermarket systems, ie milly/blueflame, need a reducer or connection section, to connect the downpipe to a standard system.

 :happy2: perfect I have that on both the downpipe and decat so can fit either or both  :drinking:

Can anyone recommend a 02 spacer or like that will remove the cel or exhaust light until I get my remap?

Ok, I think Im getting a little  :confused: and my wording muddled up.

In essence this is what Im having fitted on wednesday

It will be mated up to a resonated milly so I am hoping it will sound nice but not in your face. I just want to ask some peoples opinions - I will save up for a sports cat - probably 200cell and weld it into this section shown on the right (the long straight bit after the turbo down)

Will the exhaust as it stands so the first picture plus the milly (which isn't loud - just about louder than the normal with a little burble) be too loud or make too much drone? I really want to fit the sports cat before I get a remap just to help reduce drone (if any), make it a little quiter and help pass MOT's as my normal go-to-for-anything-and-everything-mechanic won't be able to do me any favour soon.
