Title: Launch control - something wrong with my car?
Post by: sub39h on February 29, 2012, 11:23:04 am
I've always been told that 2400rpm is the best revs for the DSG launch control on the K03 engine, but that you can launch up to 3000rpm if you mash the throttle into the carpet

yesterday i tried this, and it wouldn't rev past 2600rpm - what's the matter do we reckon?

Did you have it in D mode rather than S mode?

D mode only revs to circa 2600 rpm does it not?
