Title: noisy heater

the heater fan in my golf makes a lot of noise when on,it works ok just really noisey :mad:any ideas :happy2:

may need a new fan

What is it like with 'econ' depressed, or 'AC' switched off (depending on your model year)?

I hope it's the fan but it might be the compressor, a known weakness.

pretty sure its the same with the econ depressed,gets louder the faster it goes. hope its the fan is it a easy fix?? :smiley:
