Only useful if you have a map that requests 130 bar. The rs4 one cracks at 136 bar (standard one is 130 bar) so gives the injectors a useful bit of pressure headroom because of the higher rail pressure.

Only really needed if your at stage 2+ and above. Which requires a steady 130 bar of fuel pressure as mentioned above.

Hi all going stage 2+ next week, just spoken to Revo themselfs and they dont recomend changing the oem valve for the RS4 version, they said they havent experiance any problems under there testing ?? i asked if fuel pressure was meeting requested and again he said they havent experiances any problems so no need to chance it but its up to me if i wish too?

speak to steve at statllers if you want to get maxium power out of stg 2+ you need the valve asfaik.

Basically the standard one cuts out at 130 bar and some maps ask for 130 bar all the time instead it dips between 126 - 130 bar, where as the RS4 one is always between 130 - 136 bar, if this makes sense. You dont have to have one fitted but if the car feels hesitant when you floor it, its maybe because there is not enough fuel pressure

You will notice a flatspot when driving on the Stage2+ map, the RS4 valve will solve the problem, well worth the cost (cheap part -expensive fitting!)

Had mine done by BDM last year.
