Title: why did VW..

make the mk5 gti have jutter at the biting point.. I mean it makes me think im driving it wrong when im not..
it should be nice and smooth !!
apparently its the way the DMF works in these cars.. but it's really peeing me off
 :confused:

what are everyones thoughts? and does it bother others aswell?

Sounds like your flywheel is needing replaced mate. Mine doesn't do it. Or the other 4 or 5 I've driven.

Haven't heard of this or experienced it either? Mine drives silky smooth!! Sure it ain't your driving???  :driver:

I've not heard or it either. A flywheel juddger isn't a good sign.

Is this when you've raised the clutch too high and it's about to stall? If so, dip the clutch,

Otherwise there's something a miss.

I'd second that,mine's never juddered in any gear's.

Correct, dual mass flywheel was invented for noise and to be smoother
Vibration means something's not right

Mine makes a bit of a judder if I dont give it enough revs when setting off. I read somewhere that DMF's like revs to work properly ( quietly) :smiley:

I was looking at this yesterday. Try googling techniclutch and then decide whether to go with them or not. Put me right off  :chicken:

dam.. I think I won't be going there.. looks like its a LUK clutch kit/DMF from europarts side company.. comes out 50 pound cheaper aswell.. any other suggestions :S?

Do not use techniclutch what ever you do.be better of putting jam on a dinner plate and using that as a clutch.it would last longer.

the only clutchkit/DMF i can find for sale is LUK.. shall I just go for that :S ..clutch kit/DMF £380 all in from eurocarparts side company?
