Title: Brake lights only work when foot firmly presses pedal

Any ideas on this, just found out that if I lightly tap the brakes the lights don't work, i got to give it a hard push.this is no goods it's very fierce braking :scared:

you probably need to just adjust the brake pedal switch which is behind the brake pedal...

i'm not tooo sure how big a job it is to replace but i shouldnt think its too major

thats the ETKA diagram for the brake light switch

the part numbers appear to be the same for the mk4 and mk5 except for the 1k2/1j0 beginning
