Beware, I was tempted by this until I noticed it didn't have optical image stabilisation

It's only an entry level kit. To get Image Stabilisation in Canon world you need the correct type of glass. :happy2:

ive got the canon eos 500d totally love it does the job i want the newer versions are out and are better

Is image stabilisation important, or would fitting the camera to a tripod help?
