Title: MK4 Golf - Child Seats?

I just looking through the net and found these. Child seats built into the standard seats.........was this on option? are these still available? These are ideal and would be ace on my MK5

I'd be surprised if they were, VW went all cheapass with the mk5 design.

It looks like these were fitted to MK4 Recaro's not 100% sure. Be handy to find out if this is or was an option on the MK5

No, they were a factory option but only on the mk4 golf. No sign of it on the ETKA diagrams for the mk5 and I've never heard of such a thing on the mk5 platform tbh.

So there were a defo option on the MK4? sure a retrimer could mod a mk bench to fit these in?
