Title: Pads & Discs
Post by: StuHeff on March 09, 2012, 03:11:57 pm
Good afternoon Guys,

Car has just been through dreaded MOT/service and I will need to replace front/rear brake pads and also front discs in the next couple of months.  Rather than the £300+ that VW quoted I want to buy online and my mate will fit, which type is best and where should I buy from?

Thanks in advance...

Stu

Pagid, Ate, Ferodo, TRW (former Lucas-Girling) all do/are OEM. All these are fine.
Also agree with Jack about genuine VW discs and pads  :happy2: and EBC .

Hi Stu,

Might be worth giving your local TPS depot a call. I picked up some OEM front pads and discs whilst they had an offer on for £110 in Nov. My mechanic charged £45 to fit so £155 all in
