Was it Poverty trying to make sure his Audi beat  a 250? Is he still there now? It could be a long day  :signLOL:

Poverty was hitting 12.8-12.9 iirc.  Struggling with his launches.

i dont think he expected me to overtake him either

Useful day for us tbh. My car really really needs a transmission mount.  You could here it clunk even on gentle launches :scared:.  The DSG isnt a fan of the midrange torque i think, so changes there, and my tyres are horrendous   Could do with a DSG remap as well to stop the auto change up beating me to the gear changes

Sy. A DSG remap will make that DSG shifting at peak torque worse. It's made mine a bit 'grabby' if I change gear on WOT at peak torque.

A DSG map is needed to raise the torque limit, and to stop the autochange at the redline.

I was changing manually and both me and the car was deciding to change gear itself at the same time, so it would end up changing twice  :fighting:

Why would DSG change at peak torque though?  thats at 3000rpm (ish)

Sorry i misread your post.

That's the thing that annoyed me about the stock dsg software, trying to catch the gear change at the redline before the ecu does... Loads better with the dsg remap. BUT, I do get a bit of a thump when short shifting on WOT, just a fraction too aggressive

Had this but on stock box.  Need a transmission mount ASAP

Still happens on mine with the rear engine insert, but it's much less of a 'clatter' now

you might need the other mounts for a smoother gear change

yeah but other things happen if you rev the tits off it in one gear

to change from red-line 2nd, to 1st would massively over-rev and could pop the engine.. :sad1: :sad1:

Hope not.

On my 2+ ED30 if I go flat out and change gear early (about 4K) it's very agressive! Shunts the car, only since my DSG was mapped
