Title: Best oil for my gt tdi 140 PD?

Going to Birmingham tomorrow at 6am and have checked my oil and it's on min :( does anyone know the best oil I can get? It'll have to be a halfords job as nothing's open now. Thanks in advance.

5W/30 Longlife with spec 507.00 if on longlife servicing or 5w/40 with spec 505.01 if on 10k intervals.

Get a litre of Castrol edge 5W-30 and you'll be fine.   :smiley:

Thanks guys, i got the Castrol 5-30 :)  :drinking: Good job i checked as sometimes i dont before journeys. Luckily it wasn't starved of much. Will keep checking it frequently now.
