Hi guys, had the car a while but never thought to post up pics. It's an 05 gti with stage 1 map, BDM intake and coilovers. I'm going for the OEM+ look :)

Certainly capturing OEM+ a treat dude. Stance is lovely and I like the look  :happy2:

Second photo is great. Has it got some HDR effect(s) on it?

It has some effects, my bro did them as I haven't a clue how to take a good picture :/

Little update!

Purchased a milltek downpipe/sports cat. Booked in 1st week of July for fitting. Hopefully get a stage2 map put on in the same week.

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Total VAG in Leighton buzzard for doing a great job fitting my downpipe to my stock cat back. They told me it was a bit of work as the pipe needed a bit of a cut and shut to get it right but I am very pleased with the end result.

It's as low as I can go @ the moment due to the drive shafts hitting the chassis if there pot holes in the road. I don't get any rubbing on the arch tho. This maybe down to running slightly thinner tyres up front. 215/35/18 :)

She's back in total vag garage in lu7 getting both outside cv boots done. Unfortunately running the car as low as it is the angle of the drive shafts just kill the boots :( its a small sacrifice for good looks.

My next oem+ mod is going to be the front brakes. Got my eye on some s3 345mm brakes so watch this space!!!

as mentioned above what coilovers are you on? have you rolled the arches etc?

Hi Matt,

I have recently fitted fk's to the rear to get a bigger drop, and the front I have Ta tecknics. I brought these due to the 3 year Warrenty that they come with.

Can't fault them really.

No arch work done, I haven't even bothered doing the front arch lining mod.

In between the showers I managed to get my boost gauge fitted. I brought the APR boost tap which was really easy to install and looks the cleanest option in my opinion.

Fitted my polar fis today which wasn't as hard as I thought. Problem now is as I don't have a mfsw I can't access to the polar screen. It's a decent enough excuse to get a mk6 mfsw in the new year tho :)

Got my new mk6 mfsw fitted and coded yesterday. So happy with it. It's a great mod!!!

Also with this fitted I was able to access the polar fis so was also glad to get that working!!!

Went to r tech in St. Albans this weekend to get some new tyres fitted. I had some 225/40/18s on the rear but iv changed to 215/35/18 to match the front. This has dropped the rear by about 20mm.

It does need a little tweak regarding ride height. I never thought I'd say this bit it is a little too low now, but with the weather being rubbish I'm going to have to wait till next weekend to get it sorted.

Also ordered some 15mm spacers for the rear.

Bought my 56 plate Tornado red GTI, 68k on clock and only 2 owners for £6,000 2 months ago.

Keep looking, you can find good GTIs for your budget  :happy2:

I think I brought the wheel and controller for about £550. Paid another £50 for fitting and coding. Worth every penny in my opinion. Top mod!
