Title: Nice delivery today
Post by: nezquick on March 12, 2012, 12:48:10 pm
took delivery of my door kick gaurds (lower), sound insulation and cruise control stalk today  :happy2:

now just to look for a decent guide on installing it. Apart from the caddy guide and the rocco does anyone have and can supply a link to a mk5 gti guide with good detail? If not I'll just take most of sunday to sit down and do it to the other guides if there more or less the same?

yup, same difference i think.

like these (https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTs2TSgQLzo5Ovra0-skBDTw4AIv68QUJmGSjcr4DJ9VGai3fyrHQ) for the lower section. I have a little paint damage that I managed to do a good repair on and wanted to help protect that area for longer rather than risking a paint job eventually.

they feel really sturdy, they are stainless steel and feel like good quality. Im gunna put some extra sticky back tabs on mine just for personal reasurance (that they don't go anywhere) they actually look really smart when on! and im half to spray them black.
