Hi Guys,
Iv been noticing my car is feeling more and more sluggish recently. Its getting to the pointnow where it feels like i have no boost at all.
Ive been reading through different topics and thought the PCV may be the problem. I undid the oil cap and it ran rough (as its supposed to i believe) and because it was easy enough to take off i decided to do the blow in/out technique. The valve flips back in and seals every time so clearly not that.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what it could be?
My car is 56 wi 54k on and has revo stage 1 with a pipercross panel. I changed to an edition 30 DV a few months ago...
Thanks in advance...

Did you check the dv before installing it? might of had a fracture or hairline crack thats got worse since installing. get it off and have a look - you'll know then if if the dv valve thats bust. Thats what im doing this weekend - been meaning to for a long time but weather is only just nice enough / light enough in the evening to do it.

No i didnt i got Awesome to fit it while i was having my cam belt and water pump done. On my old MK4 the DV was on the top. Where is it on the 5? Might be worth a look like you said. What tools do i need?

under the car towards the back by the turbo, you only need a few tools. if you go to forge's website and look at how to install the spacer on the k03 unit there are some quite good photos and advice on finding and removing the dv.. if not try going back to awsome and say something doesn't feel right and you want them to check the dv..

Excellent! Il av a bash at that tomoro.
Im sure iv read somewhere on her that the oil cap has a breather on it? Is this correct? I seem to have lost the centre piece that slots in the middle of the cap and was wondering if this could also be a problem. Are there any pipes that are prone to splitting that i should look into. Its really starting to p*ss me off now n im thinking of driving it off a cliff! :driver:

I can 100% confirm that driving off a cliff will not fix you boost leak problem.
