Title: VW independent Hertfordshire

Hi

Can anyone recommend a good independent garage in the Hemel Hempstead or Watford area?

Getting sick and tired of the worry every time I take my ED30 to Citygate VW that they're just doing an incompetent job!!

I feel your pain. Bought my eddy from there. CS is a joke, I'm getting my cambelt done there Friday free of charge after much tooing and frowing. :scared:

Me and my dad have taken our vw's to an VW Audi Indy for the last ten years, 01992630333. Theyre in Waltham Cross, Cheshunt so not a million miles away. Bout 30min drive from Watford, jnc 25 off M25.

Yup, as suspected, I went to pick the car up this morning after having the cambelt and the exhaust warning light came on before I left the car park. Theyre now keeping the car and will call me back on Monday. Nearly £650....at their expense  :evilgrin:

Hey Gladiator which CG do you take your car to? The one in Milton Keynes seem to be ok, I've used them a few times on my MK3 and my Edy now. I live in Hemel and it's not too far. Plus in MK there's lots of independent VWAG guys over there too.
