Title: INFO on GTI rear discs

Hi quick question, do all GTIs have solid rear discs or do some have vented rears?

All have solid rear discs. Only the R32 has vented rear discs.   :smiley:

Cool thanks for clearing that up mate, so ive got 286mm solid rears, there just seems to be a big gap between the carrier and disc faces

The 286mm version has also now been changed to 282mm if ordering via dealer stock, technical change to reduce rear pad noise and uneven wear apparently  :happy2:

Oh so That explains why brembo only list a 282 rear nice one

Just fitted the Brembo front and rear set to my car (282mm rears).  Need them to bed in before I can give an opinion.  MASSIVE saving over dealer prices.  Front and rear pads and discs £220.  £60 fitted...... :happy2:
