Title: Best way to get VW to look at rust.

Whats the best way to see if i can claim for Rust on my 57 plate GTI ?

Book it in to the local dealer ? Or do i have to contact Volkswagen uk ?

The rust is at the bottom of the passenger door at the leading edge and about an inch long by 1/2 an inch

Get in touch with your local dealer, you'll then have to take your car for them to inspect with a paint depth gauge etc then they will take and send pictures off to vw uk. I don't think you can go straight to vw uk I think you need to go through your dealer.
