Does anyone know of a place in the uk that sells these number plate surrounds? They are in germany and want £18 for delivery.

I have looked everywhere for those too and couldn't find anywhere else that sells them. Only place I have seen something similar was at GTI international last year, don't know why I didn't buy them.
The shipping from platemyride is a bit pricey, more than the surround itself lol, but I think its 18 euros regardless of how many you buy...
Group buy?? I could do with one for the front to match the back. :smiley:

I have a alienware 22inch 1080p monitor and I had to look a couple of times to see the exhaust :chicken:
go to wilko and get pack of wirewool with 3 different wools soft medium and hard with autosol and ALOT of elbow grease :party:

Thanks for the advice, but it's not that bad, honestly. Just wiped it quickly with a face wipe, much better already. :innocent:

Just e-mailed seller asking why postage is so high? Just checked with Air royal mail and something of that size and weight would cost around £3.50. Told them that a lot of people would be interested if postage was lower. Doubt it will change anything but worth a try!

I've emailed in the past and asked for cheaper shipping alternatives too but they said no because of problems they've had with stuff going missing in the post and takes too long to arrive etc.
You should be able to get those surrounds from dubmeister.
I've asked Dubmeister before if they are able to get hold of these as they are a sister company (I think) but never heard back from them.

if it can clean exhausts like that and you use them on your face too... wtf kinda makeup do you slap on that you need them to get it off! :surprised: :grin:

Just called dubmeister and they said they used to stock them but it wasn't worth it because of the date on the plate only went up to 2006 which is fair enough. But my gti is a 2006 so I need to have these!!!!!!!!!! Cool little touch I think
