Popped over to Silverstone today to take some pics of the runners and riders this year.

Few absentees though, most notably MG - they only brought along a mock up due to actual car not being ready.

Collard was giving it some that's for sure now he's got some proper boost under his right foot.

Dave Newsham in the old turbo'd Vectra was fastest today. The AmD Golf was within 1 second of it and inside the 1min barrier on the International circuit.  :smiley:

But I gotta say, the new Civic's looked damn good in the corners with the wider stance.

Guess he's getting it ready for full on attack in 2013 as that's when all cars will be NGTC spec

I went to this last year. Was really disapointing that the pits were basically closed door. However, the even at Brands Hatch for the pre-season testing last week would have had more access available.

The golf did ok....did a lot of laps, no problems. 12th fastest i think, within 1sec of the fastest car and last car to dip below the 1min barrier.

Think they are happy with pre season testing and ready for some good racing this year!  :happy2:

Shaun was rather busy so didn't get to chat with him.
