Does anyone on here have an Manheim trade account with internet access?
I'm intrigued to know what price this Pirelli sells for at the Colchester Manheim auction this morning - Lot 1151 YR58GFA
Registered 11/08, 5 door Pirelli 41k miles in Graphite Blue. High-ish miles and an unusual colour, but the VW dealers seem to love these newer cars and put big prices on them. Alan Day 'round my way recently sold a Feb'09 Pirelli for £17,777, reasoning it was a good deal compared to buying a new ED35....
If anyone has access could you see what it sells for. Thanks !!!

If you see it advertised for £16K they will have paid £12k for it, I did this last year with an ED30, sold at auction (I was there) for £10650 and appeared on dealer forecourt for £15695
Went to see it out of curiosity as I saw it for sale but bought mine 10 before that (mine had better spec, twas the only reason!)

Yep. I saw a lovely red 3-door ED30 with just £14k miles sell for £11,600 at BCA to go on for £14,900 at GTI World in Edinburgh.
Interested in this one as its high miles for a VW dealer and a marmite colour, judging by comments on the graphite blue poll.

Off topic but some chap on detailing world forum managed to buy trade price an 08 plate Edition 30 with 91000 miles for £6000.
-
Must have been Cap Low then (Tatty) as 08 plates CAP High (Upper) was 9350 to 11150 in October last year, if it was poverty spec that would also reduce price a lot as most people want as many options as poss :happy2:
-
From what I gathered it was in tatty condition but wasn't bought through auction, I think some company offered it to him.
Here is the thread....

Easy money, nice when that happens :happy2:
Remember about 6 years back buying some old stuff from a Toy distributor he mentioned he an Old kit in the back somewhere, asked him about it, told me what it was and how much he wanted, paid him £76 for it including shipping from middle east, received it 6 days later checked it over then stuck it on ebay!, 10 days later it sold for £1764  I got 2 Ski Holidays out of that :signLOL:

Thanks Nige - a bit less than I was expecting. Someone got a good deal...

Most likely a dealer, prob on forecourt for £16.5k

I agree
Although buyers premium of 4.5% would be added to that price, in addition it's a 'moredoor' in dark blue probably the least desirable combination for the Pirelli which maybe a bit sticky if it's a trader that's bought it.
Notwithstanding the fact that there are bargains to be found at Mannheim - bought an 04 TT180 Quattro the other week in mint condition for £4k
